(DPPA), 18 U.S.C. ยง 2721.
๐ What We Access
Our service only accesses publicly available information that is not
protected under the DPPA:
Parking and traffic ticket records - Available through public county
websites
Violation details - Ticket numbers, dates, amounts, and locations
Vehicle information - Only what appears on public ticket records
Court and payment status - Public record information
๐ซ What We Do NOT Access
We do not access any DPPA-protected personal information from government
databases:
Social Security Numbers
Driver's license numbers (from DMV databases)
Names and addresses (from motor vehicle records)
Phone numbers (from government databases)
Medical or disability information
๐ Legal Basis
According to the DPPA:
"Non-personal information contained in motor vehicle and driver license records such
as vehicular crash records, driving violations and driver status information are
considered public information."
Our service operates by accessing the same publicly available ticket information that
any individual could access manually through county websites.
Data Sources & Public Information
๐ Public Data Sources
We access ticket information from official county websites that provide public access to
parking and traffic violations:
Miami-Dade County: Official parking violations website
Broward County: Traffic violation lookup system
Orange County: Citation search portal
๐ค User-Provided Information
Personal information is obtained only through voluntary user submission:
License plate numbers (provided by users)
Driver's license numbers (with explicit consent)
Contact information (email, phone)
Vehicle details (make, model, year)
๐ How It Works
Our system automates what users could do manually: visiting county websites and
